I spent most of the week thinking about how AI will combine with AR (augmented reality, not virtual reality).

Authoritarians got to authoritarian.

The core demo would be the new screen (glasses), + the transformative wow factor would be the visual enhancement. It replaces sunglasses and most prescription glasses + makes you superhuman (utility). These enhancements are already built (software/AI silicon) or patented.

4) use AirPod LIDAR to provide rough true dark vision (outline shapes), 5) Digital sunglasses, and 6) ability to normalize lighting (bright sources muted and dark sources lightened). This correction package could be an entire visual field or limited to a rectangular window at first (more likely).

What do I mean by visual enhancement? Make vision better. For example; 1) low light signal processing (realtime conversion of dusk into sunset) to allow night driving, 2) dynamic vision correction 20/20, 3) Zoom (the ability to zoom in close and far)...

What would I build? This is hard since the product will set a new price point for personal computational devices ($2-3k). First: replicate the iPhone screen + gestural control. Turn the screen on the phone off when it is on (to save power). Second: enhance the visual experience.

One way into the topic, particularly given how many permutations are possible, is to imagine what you would build if you were Steve Jobs running Apple.
