This is literally what the 4th amendment was written to protect against. There are lots of things that are up for discussion and debate about how one interprets the 4th amendment. This isn't one of them.

Powell standing up to Trump is the same thing as the Minneapolis residents standing up to ICE - both rely on the realization that all of their power flows out of their ability to make you afraid, and you don’t have to be, and then they have barely any power over you anymore.
