The family says that ICE is wrong about what seems to be an alleged visa overstay. They say she was in valid status. Without knowing more, I can’t know or say which party is correct.

This article is extremely murky on legal details. From what I have read, she was already in removal proceedings (unclear when initiated) on allegations of overstaying a dependent visa. After receiving a continuance, ICE detained her, like they’ve been doing for many recent migrants. But after that…

Democratic senators should ignore GOP attacks over not confirming Trump's nominees, and instead go on the offensive: Attack Republican senators for not voting to release the Epstein files. And urge voters to go to Republican senators' town halls or find them elsewhere to challenge them on this.

This is my hope for Texas. Cut the margins so it's a bunch of R+5s, then somehow give us a D+15 electorate

Annoyance is that my diet hasn't changed all that much versus a year ago, and a year ago I lost 40lbs in 16 weeks 🫠
