Football is unfair eh.
Is right. Deserved goal for Newcastle here.
Newcastle really need one. Been the better team there.
One of the weirdest games of football I've watched. Liverpool were bad, Galatasaray headed the ball and the ref did not ref
The referee just falls for every single dodgy play here.
And Wirtz should have absolutely scored when that Galatasaray keeper was in no man's land. Every final third action looked very rushed.
Very weird game, and the longer Liverpool doesn't score, the weirder it's going to be.
I think that Van De Ven red was harsh, but for argument's sake:
If you're the last defender (match in drawing state), at what point in the game does it become worth making the foul and take the red?
Is an early-ish red more detrimental than a goal conceded?
Everyone going brain dead at the same time.
That sequence starting from Ngumoha keeping the ball far too long to the wolves goal is stuff of nightmares. Self-inflicted loss.
re: soccer analytics, if you never learned to code, you still would be better off if you did. Yes, AI will enable you to do things you couldn't before, but what's missed in the learning stage is vital. It's analogous to the difference between learning to code soccer data having never watched soccer
Inevitably, it will be all miserable again soon and Bodø/ Glimt will be eliminated in a heartbroken way, but let's not think about it much.
Turns out the key to happiness is Fool's Spring and Bodø / Glimt champion's league campaign.
NOT LIKE THAT FFS.
I'm starting to get a bit annoyed with Curtis Jones not starting PL games for Liverpool.
Just let Bodø/Glimt fix football.
Happened with Warta Poznan last year too! The 1. Liga is a very competitive league.
Can we now all get back to what a rancid ballsack that Jim Ratcliffe is?
Was about time someone won at the stadium of light. Slot in.
That's a horrendous sight for Endo 😔
So very unfair this game of football.
Liverpool hitting new levels of "sometimes it is just not your year."
Feel bad for Slot. Still think he's pretty good. Not sure what he's supposed to do about his best player becoming his worst player + a beloved locker room glue guy dying in an accident + losing every single dice roll.
Get in girls! No longer bottom of the league!!
And also its fair share of animals.
Turkiye brought its fair share of football. Cold, sunny, cloudy and pretty settings in the last couple of weeks.
I think what I love the most is that things have been considered carefully and she decides that it's worth risking it all despite potentially dramatic consequences. Bonkers.
I love Lindsay Vonn. She's Ayrton Senna levels of nuts. Knee replacement? ACL + Meniscus tear? Don't care.
Absolutely insane. She's an ultimate sports great for that reason.
There's a case to be made about Arsenal fans not actually caring about/liking football at that much. There for the gram.
Good philosophical question. Can one ever wear their team's kit genuinely without caring?
Which set of British football fans is most likely to wear their team's kit on holiday thinking people care?
