Bit tardy for @wildflowerhour.bsky.social but a glorious afternoon @derbyswildlife.bsky.social Gang Mine yesterday. Banks of wild thyme, Alpine pansies which seem to last forever, spring sandwort, the promise of a cinnabar moth caterpillar, and coquettish eyebright

The temporary exhibition at Lady Lever gallery is excellent....crepuscular birds, appropriately lit...a touch of the surreal and who, other than Jim Moir, would think of combining a wren with a heavyweight boxer, the French Angel Maurice Tillet?
No dove from above though!

What a treat! I felt so immersed and mesmerised. I would love to see it all again. Everything was excellent...Hamlet incredible. One of our friends is losing his sight so found the darkness tricky but still felt the atmosphere and appreciated it so much. Lucky to have seen it.
