I wonder if Target then intended to stop supporting Black designers and Black History Month. I wonder if we’ll see the Pride merch this year. Will their Cat and Jack brand stop making sensory-friendly clothing for kids on the spectrum?
I keep waiting to hear the f-ing plan. Who is our leader? Excuse my nerdy parallel, but who are The Jedi? It seems we have to form alliances in our neighborhoods first. Then our cities and states. It might be us, Anna. We have to make a plan.
Who is staying the path? Which sources can we trust? Why is placating Trump even considered worthwhile?
I turned off news notifications on my phone - an important step in reclaiming peace. I can check in once a day. Being in a constant state of political outrage does not serve my first grade students. They get all of me. If I am not regulated, they won’t be regulated.
Take a deep breath. We need our energy and emotions for the long haul. When easy things are made hard (on purpose), it’s hard to stay regulated. But we can’t let them tire us out with silly games.
