Signing a “no new taxes ever” pledge sounds good until you remember:
Tariffs are taxes.
Borrowing is a tax on the future.
And refusing revenue means cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP, and rural hospitals.
A pledge is not a plan.

Then you blame individuals for “not complying.”
That’s not election integrity.
That’s managed exclusion.
And started rolling back decades of clean air protections.
So we tied our hands.
