Transgender men are just a subset of men, just like there are "tall men" who are men who happen to be tall.
Transgender women are women. Some women are short, some are chubby, and some are transgender. They are all women with different qualities we can use to distinguish them.
"Transgender" is an adjective. It describes a person, just like "blonde" or "tall".
"Cisgender" is an adjective. It also describes a person, just like "thin" or "freckled".
They are coming for our neighbors and family members already. The time to stand up is always NOW.

TBH the study really shows academia is too solicitous of conservative propaganda. The liberal views are beliefs / opinions; the conservative "belief" of "widespread voter fraud" is objectively false, yet 47.6% of academics would permit that delusion / lie to be taught to undergraduates.

I've been at this for 15 years, scraping by even while employed by local congregations, while large and midsized churches use my work to build their social media presence.
I'm thrilled that my work is meaningful, but how about my life? My time? My ability to keep doing that work?
It is ok to be angry, scared, or sad right now, but your actions still matter. Guard your emotional and physical health, but don't ignore the little things you can do: Write a letter, donate time or money, or just check in with friends. Those little things make a difference, too.
