Transferring from one bobbin to another today. Single was spun with my #canadianproductionwheel and I only have two bobbins, so everything gets transferred and then plied on my #wallacevaneaton wheel.

My first fiber to finished object project! I spun and dyed the colored wool, wove it, then sewed the finished fabric into these drawstring pouches. Iβm thrilled with how these turned out, and so are their new owners!

4 skeins of dark purple yarn on a wooden board. 3 skeins are laying vertically and the fourth is at an angled slant on top of them. The yarn has slightly varied shades of light purples and pinks but is predominantly a true purple color.
Five hanks of yarn are hanging off a barely visible rod. The left-most hank is a red and white two ply striped handspun yarn that looks vaguely like a candy cane. The other four hanks to the right are a bright pinkish color that almost wants to be purple but isnβt. Itβs more purple than bubblegum but more pink than lilac.
Dye pot adventures using the wool I spun over the fall and winter. Iβm still working on getting the right dye concentrations because my dye baths are far from exhausted when Iβm done. The pink was made using the remnants from the purple batch!
