RaidLog zine is so cool. I feel grateful to have been accepted, so many artists I admire... frantically applying at 2am with what I had on my phone while on vacation bc I had an idea for Coils 1. Getting assigned that specific tier by chance and feeling happy with how it came out feels great

Players will come and go and old raiders make way for new ones. But regardless of how long you've played or when you started, the RaidLog team strives to document and honor the content you played, as it was. Or a part of it, so its there for you when you reminisce on Sigmascape, AAC HW, etc.

What's more.. FFXIV patches are built for the moment they are released in. Much of the playerbase moves on once a new content cycle arrives, leaving these older diagrams to essentially serve as a time capsule.

This sparked the idea for @weenyweeny.bsky.social, who is (unfortunately) chronically addicted to FFXIV raiding. Aren't FFXIV raid diagrams an art in themselves? You see the serious ones, the mspaint ones, the food ones, the shitpost ones... (also see @ xivdiagrams on twitter)

This Project idea actually started over a lunch meetup, where @joutp.bsky.social commented how FFXIV raid diagrams remind her of Mondrian style art. See the the resemblance?

Find yourself asking 'who the heck are these people' or 'just what is this RaidLog Project, and why?'

Simply put, this is a passion project from other players like you! Other raiders like you. RaidLog is meant to capture battle content cycles as they were in the moment. ⏬RaidLog Fun Facts Thread:
