Paul Conroy — a brilliant photojournalist who documented wars & human chaos for decades — has passed away. He was injured in the same attack in Homs that killed Marie Colvin & he just carried on travelling to conflict zones.
May he rest in peace.

Beautifully written and as a very long time friend and visitor to the country, I felt and smelled and saw every sentence here. I too have witnessed the decay of Cuba into the rusty shell it is today. No threat to anyone. And certainly deserving of our support.

The real threat to democracy doesn't come from 'family voting'. It comes from the losing side refusing go accept they've lost

BBC newsroom is anti-Reform, ex News chief admits
Deborah Turness, who quit as the BBC's News CEO after a Panorama scandal over a Donald Trump speech edit, has opened up about attitudes at the corporation.
Striking 👀
Ex-BBC News CEO: "I personally overruled internal editorial policy to give Nigel Farage primetime exposure... he ought to be on Question Time... to get a big Panorama interview. Even though the math didn't say he earned it... look at the polling. We will be out of step with the public."

It's always someone else's fault! Doesn't that sound like the right wing? It comes right out of the Trump playbook.
Look at yourselves Reform.
