Last May, I said goodbye to my 16 year-old Lab. Though she was deaf & nearly blind, her spirit never dimmed. Our slow n short walks—nose to the ground, always curious. Her resilience and joy were a daily reminder to fully enjoy the time I had with her. I miss her deeply.

Today, we got the call —her owner reached out! She’s now on her way back home, and we’re so glad this story has a happy ending, and we miss her already 😭.

It’s been 48 hours since this sweet girl found us during our evening walk. She followed us for nearly two hours, and with no sign of an owner nearby, I decided to bring her home. She was clearly well cared for—clean, friendly, and easygoing—and we knew someone was missing her. #dogs
