We all need to agree that OKC is easy and that SGA is a blight upon the sport.

"This stuff doesn't work anymore. Nobody cares" is explicitly nazi rhetoric, which ought to surprise nobody at all coming from Ryan Grim

For the record, since it apparently needs to be said: No, synagogues are not acceptable targets to express opposition to the state of Israel, just as Shia mosques are not acceptable targets to protest the Iranian government, just as Russian Orthodox churches are not targets to protest Russia.

Post from Rebekah Jones: “Israel killed his family.

So he drove his car into a synagogue that advertises trips to steal from his people.

I may not agree, but I understand.”

Logged onto Facebook and the first thing they fed me was a post justifying the attack on a synagogue in Detroit today.

Tweet from the Prime Minister of Israel: "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

Antisemitism knows no limits or boundaries.

Israel is attacked because it is the Jewish state. Temple Israel in Detroit was attacked today because it is a Jewish house of worship."

Speaking as a Jew living in Diaspora, who needs to exist as a minority at a time of rising antisemitism, I would really appreciate it if the Prime Minister of a country where I do not live would not say that attacks on a sovereign country are analogous to attacks on a synagogue.

Tweet from Ro Khanna: "You cheerled us into the war in Iraq. You called Pat Buchanan antisemitic for criticizing Israel's bombing of Lebanon in 2006. You are one of the loudest supporters for Netanyahu's war in Gaza. Your neocon ideology has done so much damage to America and people are on to it."

I mean Pat Buchanan actually is antisemitic - he denied the Holocaust - so if you are trying to argue that pro-Israel people are too overzealous in labelling criticism of Israel as antisemitism, Pat Buchanan is the last person you should be citing.

Free advice to the NBA: maybe start the marquee games at a time so that they don't end at 1245 am (especially when they are in central time).

A normal person posts: I meet with, I would estimate, several hundred people a year. Surprisingly, I do not endorse all of them.

A very strange person replies: you "meet with" several hundred people a year? and i'm supposed to think more of you, not less?

Absolutely gone laughing at this.

Stephen Miller complaining about the UK finally eliminating heredity nobility from their legislature is a perfect encapsulation of how perverse it is to have these people in charge during the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

Deep in their bones they are anti-American, opposed to the very idea of a nation explicitly dedicated to liberty and equality and the rule of law and electoral democracy. Not just failing to live up to that creed, we've always had a lot of that of course. But affirmatively, ideologically against it.

It's 2026 and I am officially out of patience for people who still believe that Cheney endorsing Harris in 2024 was an example of Harris swinging right rather than Cheney correctly thinking that Trump was so dangerous she would rather stand with a person from across the aisle than promote him.

The issue is not that “progressives are antisemitic” it’s that increasingly politicians can perform a little light antisemitism as part of building a populist coalition that both leftists and antisemites are happy with.

This is, as they say, bad for the Jews (it’s also bad for leftists).

This piece makes it extremely clear this is neither a left-wing nor right-wing issue. This is a specific type of brain poison exacerbated by a misinformation ecosystem w/ no guardrails & an admin that normalizes hate. And if you think it's just about Israel I have a bridge to sell you
