Maybe you missed the part about why others are *retaliating* against Israel. Perhaps if they quit hiding behind the Iron Dome and the United States (which has used more than half of its UN Security Council vetoes to shield Israel from justice), they would be the safe place for Jews they claim to be.

Israel had already established itself as a rogue nation that carried out aerial bombardment of civilians resulting in massive casualties. Having that seeming protection has only emboldened their inhumane and illegal behavior. Israel has a long history of war crimes and atrocities. Get real!

This is the essence of fascism. The government wages war and institutes domestic oppression while rewarding its industrial partners with favorable policies, contracts and wars that support their trade. The industrial partners show loyalty by amplifying propaganda favored by the fascist government.

And the data centers are hogging the water for cooling while they pay below market rates for expanded electricity generation that drive up rates for rural communities.

AI is a collassal plagiarism machine running on massive amounts of electricity generated by power plants dependent upon enormous amounts of cool water. The reference to utility meters is very apt, yet it is obscuring resource rip-off underway as data centers hijack rural utilities nationwide.

Also, J Street has been an advocate for the Iron Dome that has been a central piece of Israel's belligerent war crimes and atrocities because it led them to believe they could always bomb elsewhere without fear of in kind retaliation. Iron Dome was a get out of jail free card prior to this month.

And we should not ignore that it was the leader of the Democratic party, Biden, who smeared them as antisemites and terrorists because they opposed his relentless support for genocide in our names, while using DHS to coordinate cops and colleges spying and cracking down on college protesters.

The owner/founder of Bluesky and most of the best journalists covering the Middle East and the corruption of western governments are actively engaged on X, but ignorant and self-righteous liberals have fled to avoid exposure to truths they don't want to acknowledge about themselves.

Repeated infections with a vascular disease that is known to diminish the quantity of gray matter in parts of the brain that promote psychiatric conditions when impaired - including depression - should not be overlooked. Pretending Covid disappeared or became safe only adds to the chaos and stress.

Maybe he just wants to take some pressure off the housing crisis in the US by getting people to fill a ton of suddenly empty homes in Israel. /s

As someone who lives in Portland, where we pride ourselves on keeping things weird, I appreciate the effort to avoid tarnishing the weird™ brand.

Trumpers aren't weird, they're pathetically servile. Also, they're unlikely to know what servile means, so it's fun to watch them ask grok to explain.

A raven is perched stop a driftwood stump. Blue skies and a calm ocean form the backdrop.

Ravens are my favorite covids, too. And when they greet me, it's usually a sign that I have found a lovely place to hang out.

Ironically, the consequences of the isolated ownership culture are what keeps most American adults from ever enjoying a sense of security and safety that they see as the purpose of "success."

Co-housing answers that and provides extra spaces for crafts, workshops, gatherings and guests when you need them. It also provides a community to get things done, although not everyone is great at mustering the skills and patience needed for effective group decision making and management.

It is far more messed up than most can even contemplate. And because Biden dragged his party into the opening act of the Greater Israel scheme (and quietly bragged about triggering the October 7th rebellion by sending Blinken to coordinate it months earlier), Dems are not actual opposition, now.

That's actually the best case scenario, short of Trump and his team of Christian nationalist extremists and sycophants being struck by bolts of lightning. When he was getting his nuclear codes 101 training, he was incredulous that he shouldn't go out and bomb a few places. He still has that itch.

Also, his boss is telegraphing that he wants him to go to war with Turkey, also a NATO country, as soon as he defeats and takes over Iran in a few days, maybe weeks or months, couldn't possibly take longer than that.

Really? When was Biden expected to own the genocide he sponsored and armed by bypassing Congress and falsifying State Department reports about Israel's gross human rights violations? How about waiving 26 laws to build Trump's wall in critical wildlife habitat? Kicking millions off of Medicaid? 🤷

It's just an extension of the logic that says the best way to prevent diseases like the measles is to get the measles. Instead of, you know, getting the shot that had eliminated the measles.

Lindsey Graham is thrilled to announce Trump's plan for causing a second Cuban refugee crisis, which will help fill the vacancies at the massive warehouse concentration camps that ICE is buying for private contractors to profit from. It will be grand!

“That’s why I say President Trump is not trying to start a war, he’s trying to prevent a war.”

See, we're in an out of control war of our choosing because we're trying to prevent the war we chose. What choice did we have? Other than continuing negotiations we were in when we started bombing, I mean

Due to space limitations, I noted in the previous post that men the elderly are most at risk of persistent suppression of immune system functions due to Covid infections. But the hardest hit group in the study was ppl with cardiovascular disease -- which Covid can cause:

It's not only the Trump administration that is out of control. This started with Biden and his team. Trump is just taking it further by actually fighting with the Israelis instead of stopping at funding, arming and covering for the Greater Israel scheme Biden emboldened. Now Dems facilitate it, too.

It's not Trumpism. Both the genocide in Gaza that is the model for what is being done in Iran and Lebanon, and the dismantling of the Covid strategy that Biden ran on happened at his direction. And because he was doing it, liberals moved to his radical right positions, just like MAGA with Trump.

China is going to take Taiwan as more and more allies refuse to let the US use their bases and the US becomes overextended in the ME and the Americas (is Greenland next). Then the source of chips for aircraft and guided weapons will be cut off and its game over for the US.

Is that why blew through more than $1.5 billion dollars of campaign funds in 15 weeks of campaigning? Because she was not trying to motivate people to vote for her? Admittedly, offering no policy positions and offering only vibes does sort of support that notion, but, then, what was the point?

Yes, that was the plan from the beginning. And it was planned before October 7th. In fact, according to the NY Times, Israel knew that the October 7th rebellion was coming a year ahead of time, while Biden helped them with the Greater Israel scheme using Saudi for Arab cover
