I didn't mean to point fingers at the staff, although they seem very inconsistent with their decisionmaking at times (hello FA staff~).

But now that you are saying this, I'd be concerned if these rules didn't apply to e621 staff. I HOPE they have a similar CoC, at least to prevent power trips. 😒

I expressed myself wrong here (English is not my first language). I tried to express my concern with those people who are big enough trigger-happy snowflakes to report somebody for something they just "didn't like".

The ToU sound thought-through, but it's still ridiculous, imo.

E621 just dropped new/adjusted Terms of Use and I stumbled over this (marked) part of it.

It will never stop being funny to me how some overly angry people try to chastise artists for making artistic choices that make a franchise's characters look (slightly) different from their original design. Especially in nsfw art, I think that's ridiculous and a big waste of energy. 😅

I just "purged" one of my art accounts of all its nsfw content AND requested art I drew in the past. That reminded me that

I WILL NEVER DRAW REQUESTS EVER AGAIN. 🫡

It was great for experience back then but it's just not worth the effort anymore, especially nowadays.

Sent another inquiry, this time a bit more emotional, for a further investigation in my matter. I try to stay determined and let them know I want to work things out.

Another update on my Discord issue:
After not receiving ANYTHING for over 3 weeks, I've just issued another inquiry -- this time in English. I feel like I should have done that sooner.
I hope this finally gives me a chance to resolve this. I'd hate to lose so many contacts because of a "mistake". 🤞

Their reasoning is flawed left and right, too.

What they are "officially" after is probably not even more than 0.25% of all the users. It's like trying to apply extremely restrictive gun laws on everybody just because guns are (potentially) dangerous. 😅

Imo, it's a power trip thing, nothing else.

Just to be clear with an example:
if Discord decides for themself that Impmon is in any way childlike, they will probably ban me from Discord. This would destroy many of my personal connections and there would be nothing I can do about it. It feels like a weird power trip experience... 😞

Updates abt. my Discord thingy:
I've re-read their guidelines and found out that Discord also checks you out for content on other platforms that are not related to Discord. (Either that or their phrasing is horrible.)
Nevertheless, this means I might have to stop using Discord in the future. 😔

Exactly one week later, at exactly 12am, Discord replied via email, sticking to their decision. It looks awfully like an automated message.
I've contacted Discord's support again, asking for proof from their side. Hopefully, this will be resolved. Would hate to leave Discord 'cuz of AI failing.

Just to be clear: whenever I share anything that COULD be considered 'content not fit for minors' (and legal!) I always make sure that the person I text with is an adult, too.

I am beginning to think that the internet might slowly die for me nowadays. 😔

I received a message form Discord today that I allegedly violated their guidelines considering content considered harmful to minors.
Wtf, man?
I already sent review/appeal requests their way, but I'm starting to feel bad using US-managed apps or websites.
