Go to read a new ARC (Book 2 in a duology) and this is one of the first things I see 👏👏👏 THANK YOU! I LOVE a good memory jogger and wish all authors did this!

It's super disheartening to see that dude getting a 2 book trad publish deal, when he hasn't even written a book yet, he just pitched an idea and has virality on his side. Especially considering there are people from marginalized identities who are extremely talented & have been querying forever.

Anytime I see someone with a 💩 take I'm just gonna post clown music and point out at least one of the trinity (SJM, Kate Stewart, Elle Kennedy) proudly displayed on their shelves, because it never fails. Bonus points if HP is there as well.

I've been knee deep in all types of romance books lately, feel it's time to bust out my comfort erotic horror 🖤

Mine has everything from brutal scene to some of the most beautiful prose I've ever read, especially in the horror genre. Be sure to check the warnings though as they're no joke!

The readers currently raging and throwing fits over authors protecting their spaces are the same people that wouldn't understand the message in Sleep Token's Caramel. You cannot convince me otherwise.

My bookish hot take is that books with an all straight non-LGBTQ+ cast are boring. Like give me some sapphic, give me some achillian, give me bi, demi, give me anythingggg but 2 straight cis people and the book instantly becomes more entertaining.

Some dude who is known for thirst traps and being fancast as Will Grayson III from the Devils Night series by Penelope Douglas, is capitalizing off the book community and going to charge his subscribers $70/mo to read it to them.

If you're willing to pay $70/mo to hear a man live read a book, who is clearly just capitalizing thirst traps & having you fancast him as a book boyfriend, you may need to be smacked upside the head a little bit. Also, Penelope better be getting a cut of that if their book is being read for profit 👀

Uh hey guys...remember when we said "they will come for your romance books"? Yeahhh spoiler, romance books ARE a "depiction" or else they wouldn't have had to also include the wording of "image and film" (which is also an awful puritanical thing to do & I am 100% against this ban in all it's facets)

I don't want to hear 💩 about Haunting Adeline people anymore. At least they didn't fully crash out and put screaming/crying videos on the internet when they were unable to get the special editions like these Onyx Storm people are currently doing.

If you need me over the next couple days...you don't. I'm going to mourn the loss of my largest platform and me being booted from all my pr teams because of it. I'm broken inside.
