I built a 2000s shrine. It's growing. Posters, an old PS2 in a corner (RIP), Green Day, The Fray, Blink-182 playing from speakers, sometimes I play 90s games in that corner too or watch a show from that time (Alias and 24 anyone?) It's a place where my heart rate can go back to normal.
It's why I'm gonna try living more in the early 00s. At least a couple times a week for a few hours (or even 24 hours if I want.) Throw on some Green Day, play an old video game and put my phone down.
So I used to be able to do that...but now? My mind is just so terrified and shit. Like I gotta start putting my mental health above politics. I wish I could be super informed, but I just....ugh. It can't be good for my brain / heart to be stressing ALL the time.
I might be at the point where I can't read news headlines.
Today I was nearly crying and went into a panic attack.

Like it ends up trashing my whole day and
