Number one mistake in my opinion from many indie game demos I've been playing so far is the amount of lore dumping and dialog just at the start.
Let me move around and discover things by myself before locking me down just reading... let me care for the world and people before explaining it!
I tend to be proud of myself because I try to keep up with all new releases but.... I never heard of any of those games before. 😲

This is also true for feedback from publishers/bosses. One example I always use: the publisher says "the cars are too slow!", dev checks max speed: 400kmh. Instead of modifying the speed, the dev modifies the camera and the FOV when the speed is bigger. The publisher loves it. Max speed is the same.
Generations are dead I guess - the endless PS5 generation is just starting.
The only 'good' outcome from the RAM shortage and price increase.

Increíble la labor que hacen, un año más, desde @devuego.es mantenido la BBDD más importante de la industria de videojuegos español y celebrando este pequeño reconocimiento al talento nacional.
Un par de sugerencias más, si no te importa:
- Igualar la altura de cada candidato.
- Añadir un botón hacia adelante para no tener que ir atrás cada vez que votas y elegir la siguiente categoría.
- Que cuando seleccionas un voto no tengas que confirmar en 'votar / guardar cambios'
Fantástico ejercicio de autocrítica y transparencia de Anaïs. Y a pesar de los números lanzar un juego como ese es ya un pequeño milagro del que estar orgullosa, así que congrats!!! 👏

The photo realistic approach is not doing any good to reinforce the humor and silliness this franchise is known for.
6 game cancellations will mean many jobs lost in an already horrific market. Ubisoft cancelling 3 new IPs is especially heartbreaking: people are literally clamoring for something new instead of sequels on sequels. The workers at Ubisoft deserve better than this.
This is a huge crisis that we must do our part on by rejecting generative AI. The more it infiltrates our systems, the more fucked we are over time.

Viendo esos stats mi lectura al respecto es que la mayoría de gente que vota no es del entorno de desarrollo profesional, si no del fandom o del consumo de videojuegos.
