Thanks! It's from my own setting where there are a lot of anthropomorphic animal species. More ratlings, spiderfolk, and tabaxi than elves, dwarves and gnomes but not as cutesy as most other animal based settings! This one was a pregen character I created for DragonCon last year!

Theatre events between Xmas and New Year knocked me for a loop and catching up has been a process! Think it’s the 3rd time here that I’ve pledged to get back to it! Here’s a page of sketches I did the other day. Planning for a piece to accompany the next MainStage show at Camel City Playhouse.

With a little over an hour left until 2025, here’s a sample of what I delivered today.

A somewhat unpopular opinion, perhaps, but I enjoy this art more than I enjoyed the movie!

One of my favorite pieces of BG3 art I’ve ever seen!

I have not disappeared. It just turns out that when you run up to Christmas with twelve art commissions due on New Year’s Eve, two separate shows to perform in (one of which you haven’t finished writing) and haven’t finished Christmas shopping… there isn’t time left for much else! Happy New Year!

So I sort of disappeared for the last week or so (think the last ARTvent date I did was the 17th! Mostly because I had to get the annotations for the Macbeth script finished and the script delivered for printing. Over 1500 annotations later and I’m back, or at least ready to catch up! Gimme time! 🙂

Banner arrived in good time for the holiday market this weekend!

Not being creative nearly killed me. I shelved my creative side for nearly 20 years to do the “sensible” thing and earn money, supported my wife as she became a partner in her own dental practice. Now she supports me as I try to feed my soul. Was it worth it? I don’t know. But I need to create.
