AI doesn’t replace human intelligence — it extends it.
The power lies in AI agents — digital assistants you can train to work your way.
They format, research, and automate the grind so you can focus on insight, creativity, and control.
Think with AI don't fear it.

🎧 Writers, do you do this too?
When I’m working on fiction, I often use music to get into the mindset—and even the voice—of my characters. A melody, rhythm, or lyric can help me tune into their tone in a way nothing else can.
Curious to know, do any other writers out there use music like this?

Dr Claire Malone, a woman with short red hair, wearing an orange top, sits in her powered wheelchair on stage at a Fidelity International event. Behind her, a large screen displays the title of her talk: “Rewriting the Code: AI, DEI and Bias.” The modern conference room has floor-to-ceiling windows and empty chairs arranged for a panel discussion. Sunlight and greenery can be seen outside.
Great to speak at Fidelity International on how AI and DEI intersect—especially the risks of bias creeping into AI outputs. I also shared how AI is transforming life for disabled professionals, from accessibility to productivity. #AI #Inclusion #DEI #AssistiveTech #AccessibleAI

Disabled learners don’t lack intuition. We just build it differently.
And that different perspective? It’s not a limitation—it’s a strength.
Let’s rethink what “intuitive learning” really means.
Because there are many ways to reach understanding—and every one of them counts

So despite being good at maths, I never felt why base ten was “natural.” Because for me, it wasn’t.
It’s such a perfect example of how “common sense” in learning often rests on physical experience—and how that experience isn’t universal.

Today, while reading a computer science book, I found the answer:
👉 We use base ten because humans have ten fingers.
It seems obvious now. But here’s the twist: I’ve never counted on my fingers. Ever.
As someone with a physical disability, finger-counting just wasn’t how I learned numbers.

I’ve always wondered: why do we use base ten in maths? Wouldn’t a base like eight be more efficient? It has more factors, after all! Today, while reading a computer science book, I found the answer:
👉 We use base ten because humans have ten fingers.

What happens when we let frontier models rewrite the “truth” based on the values of a few labs? As Elon Musk recently suggested: “We will use Grok 3.5... to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge.”
This is more than a technical question. It’s a societal one.

Who decides truth as AI becomes the default interface to knowledge?
A handful of labs now train frontier models — curating data, values & outputs. These aren’t neutral tools. They shape what we see, believe, and trust.
We need transparency, diversity & ethical AI.

Inclusion should be about belonging, not just identity. Too often, we close down space for reflection and disagreement in the name of safety. But real inclusion means making room for honest conversation—even when we don’t all agree.

"I am seated in my powered wheelchair in an ornate, historic room with deep red walls, high white columns, and gold detailing. I’m wearing a dark floral dress and smiling toward the camera. The room is furnished with long dark wooden tables and rows of pink-cushioned chairs. A large portrait of a man in regal attire hangs on the left wall, and a grand chandelier hangs overhead. The scene is reflected in a large mirror behind me, adding to the elegance of the setting."
