If you are telling artists or creatives to make weirder and more unmarketable art, it is in fact your obligation and duty at that point to promote/pass around/support those creatives when they *do* make that weirder art. Otherwise we can't!

This isnt about anyone here btw this is about my mom. Who absolutely has her own irrational anxiety like I do but her recent behavior is a lot more like. This is logical and in line with her worldview and values it's just also getting in the way of her doing anything about it

And I don't mean this as a dig obvi. Like it is in fact rational for most people to be anxious. But it's interesting bc like. Techniques for managing anxiety attacks never worked for me but I see who it's meant for now

One thing about going to therapy again and the current political climate is that I am starting to understand who CBT is actually for. Like I think some people actually are reasoning themselves into clinical anxiety
