You know the infamous Dark Souls 1 speedrun/no-hit strat known as the "Duke Skip" that lets you skip a big chunk of the Duke's Archives, including a scripted death during a fight with Seath the Scaleless?

Turns out it's pretty easy to pull off on a saxophone.

Fromsoft dropped the new Everdark Sovereign Superboss in Elden Ring Nightreign the other night and you KNOW I had to doot it to 'em.

Without taking a hit from an enemy or trap. A no-hit run is not a no-damage run — you are allowed to self-inflict damage to activate Low HP buffs, but anything that causes you to die counts as a hit.

It’s truly the worst.

I was Hitless in Dark Souls 2 using a saxophone all the way to the final boss for the first time, on the cusp of a World’s First.

… and then I forgot that there’s a bottomless pit in the room.

Back on GDQ tomorrow to attempt a No-Hit Run of Dark Souls II using a saxophone controller!
