It beats staring at the news!
God is not on the “us” side of Stephen Miller’s “us vs. them” construct. That is the construct the teacher of the law assumed when he asked the question that catalyzed Jesus’ parable: “Who is my neighbor?”

Keep doing the good work! Have enjoyed what you have to say for years.
Dana, reading is so hard. No TL;DR?

I just learned that abortions are up 11% after the overturning of Roe V Wade and that is a whole lot to process.
When the Anglo-Saxons migrated to the British Isles around 410 A.D. they called the native peoples Welsh, or “foreigners” and took their land.
I can’t help but think of that presumptuous audacity when I hear stories of harassment against the only people in this land who *aren’t* immigrants.

I asked my wife if she wanted to watch the new season of The Chosen now on Prime or wait until we can watch it ad-free on the app.
She said she’d like to wait because “I prefer Jesus without the commercials.”
And that feels like an entire word for American evangelicalism.
Watching a documentary on the history of film that paused over the relationship between the screen and the demands of political loyalty.
Playing catch at sunset. Grateful for daily gifts.

I don’t regret the time I was more active on X. And now it’s healthiest for me to be scaled back and more immersed in local relationships.
This is the kind of postgame testimony I love #GuardsBall
