Really liked it too. Very different to previous GoT shows in scale, but not a bad thing, and some great characters. Nice to see filming back in Northern Ireland, and Peter Claffey getting top billing gave me some patriotic pride!

I’m not setting out to yuck other people’s yums. I don’t like the show personally but I’m not the target demographic. Other people seem to enjoy it. I gave it a chance, I didn’t like it, and I chose not to continue watching. I wouldn’t necessarily actively wish for its cancellation.

I had to edit it down because I ran out of characters, but do you take everything you read on the internet so literally? Does all the “pushback” you give online come with an unwanted side of being an arsehole? Why are you so angry?

Honestly, pal, I don’t know why you’re so defensive. I never claimed to be confident about anything, I was just offering my view. You should grasp that stick from up your hole.

Considering IMDb ratings are user generated, it’s probably one metric they’re looking at. The Nielsen rating is also extremely relevant vs. how much money they’re ploughing into it. On top of all that, Paramount’s new leadership isn’t exactly ideologically aligned with what Trek represents.

An overall rating of 4.2/10 on IMDb with episodes ranging from 4.3 to 6.6 (S31 is 3.8/10 for comparison’s sake) and not being able to crack Nielsen’s top 10, suggesting it’s not getting the viewers Paramount would like says to me that cancellation is imminent. I certainly won’t be shocked if it is
