I have Bauhaus and Atari Teenage Riot shirts I bought in the early 2000s that survived countless wears. New shirts, printing wears off, holes galore and they lose their stretch.

I grew up poor as dirt, raised by my disabled grandmother and uncle for a large part of my life. Back then, you bought stuff at op shops, you repaired the stuff you had. Even 30 years back, the quality of stuff was better and the op shops had decent stuff. Nobody was trying to flip shit constantly.

Yeah, so old school Intel processors. They went to custom RISC silicone like, 5-6 years back. I’ve always found MacOS works for what I need it to. As a media guy primarily these days, it just works.

If it’s Intel, then that’s getting quite long in the tooth but you can still run older versions of OSX on it, or load up Linux.

I’ve got a 13 year old MBP that’s still being used as a spare.

I didn’t mind wrangling with Windows in the past. Overclocking and doing wild bios shit on a Core 2 Duo E6600. Today though? Shit just doesn’t work.
