Bunch of cunts
I was in my early 20s.
I miss being in a band and rehearsing loads. Sure it's fun making solo music on my laptop, but it's just not the same as actually playing stuff in a group.
Here's that sneak preview of my upcoming album again....
Here's a sneak preview of the 2nd track from my upcoming halfburntbodyfound album. I really like the unexpected twist this song takes...
I say black metal
around 10 mins of rain from various field recordings -- compiled for @maggilb.bsky.social but yr welcome if you like that sort of thing x drive.google.com/file/d/10yZC...
Yeah, so was he! He had specially moulded ones for his ears, but they didn't work apparently. I with I'd worn earplugs more when younger. My right ear has no treble anymore...
Yeah that's a pretty fucking good reason to kick him out! The least lucky with band members I ever got was our drummer's hearing messed up and his doctor told him to stop being near live music or go deaf. Nothing too dramatic really, but we never found a replacement so the band died.
They turn out to wankers?
This is good shit, by the way. Made me get back into slicing up amens in my DAW.
In my early 20s I got mega bored with guitar music and got well into breakcore and (early) dubstep etc. started making it in fruityloops, and would have loved to perform it live. Just had no idea how to do it other than pressing play on a cd. Which felt lame. Still don't know how sadly.
Sounds like a good mix. I'm here for it.
That's the bit I struggle with. Can't seem to disengage the vocal cords. Or it's really scratchy on the back of my throat. And it's supposed to not hurt innit.
The vocals I recently recorded are a bit like Barney from napalm death. Growly shouts. They work for music I made. I've tried following so many guttural tutorials and had no luck, so I kinda gave up trying!
Yeah it's that practice. I just don't have the time (or the dedication, really). I just want those noises to just happen! Ha
Vox sound monstrous. I'm jealous that my vocals I recorded recently don't sound that gnarly.
Bought.
As if. It's a great song AND you can dance to it. What else do you want from a DJ?
My favourite is at 1min 45sec into Worlock by Skinny Puppy.
I wasn't aware. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
Sweet.

Thanks for the kind words! I tried to recapture the magic and make more similar songs, but nothing I wrote was close to being as good.
Excitement levels intensify!
