Finally got around to seeing the last Devstream and its showcase of Follie

I like to think that Lindwurm II would have been a much more dynamic fight if the game were built with such in mind.
Still my favorite fight for the entire raid series, though, with Sugar Riot and Howling Blade p1 very close behind.

And to add to this, I think a huge reason for this is how fantastic the mount system is in its freedoms and limitations, whether it's just all mounts in base game zones now or the variety of movement to retroactively improve HoT zones, I feel invested in the worlds I explore because of the movement.
I still hold the belief that GW/2 is just the peak of MMO world design for the standard style MMOs.
Cities and zones feel like they have a real reason to exist and aren't just something to forget about after travelling through them once, or only coming back for a single vendor.

Going on to the bird site and seeing JP players saying things along the lines of "the raid race may as well be invalidated because of overseas DDoS attacks" really puts it in to perspective of how pitiful it is at this point.
VPNs and proxies can only get us so far in mitigating the problem, can't control whether or not others have installed such preventative measures.
We got a whole 10 minutes after savage releasing before the first ddos attack
