I'm suing Grammarly over its paid AI feature that presented editing suggestions as if they came from me - and many other writers and journalists - without consent.
State law requires consent before someone's name can be used for commercial purposes.

Watching the CT legislature quietly eliminate free bus fares for high school kids after it passed last year(a few million $) as the governor casually talks about using $500 million on a temporary gas tax holiday is pretty radicalizing

Putting this out there for the #STS and #astronomy folks:
If anyone knows great readings on space telescope and Mars rover images, how they're constructed and how we make meaning of them, I would love to add those to my research! (I already have Seeing Like a Rover and Picturing the Cosmos)

Just nap for the rest of the year
I love a chronological timeline... except when I am hoping to get a post seen by more than the people who are online the exact moment I post it???

The trite reply to this is “quite well, thank you” or “It’s when a human being is conscious”. I actually think a wilfully ignorant answer guards us from grifts; we have little idea how it works, so little chance of correctly identifying it in non-humans, including that pet rock you just put a hat on
