I wish I could wholeheartedly recommend FX’s #Grotesquerie. The performances are phenomenal, particularly Niecy Nash as the unhinged alcoholic detective. I could watch her deliver monologues all day long. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough to save the glaring flaws of the writing.
