yes exactly. funnily enough last time i played i got to start right after the first area because i guess the one time i tried replay prior to that i got fed up and quit a few hours in lol, so i gifted my future self a much better replay experience

yeah it’s so funny that the biggest crits really are “poorly paced intro” and “actually it’s just too big” - both i kind of warm to though, it’s fun to just surrender to it

and y’know, a ton of other incredible returning performers like tim robinson, jb smoove, betsy sodaro, eric bauza, and more. i love VO directing. every actor’s a completely different collaborative puzzle to figure out together. i’m very very lucky to be in this position.

Summer 2025 is pretty stacked for high-quality anime, and yet City has like carved out a whole tier of its own, it is genuinely kind of awe-inspiring that this sort of ambitious craftsmanship can still get made at all
