Evergreen.
Watching the first episode of A Knight Of the Seven Kingdoms. I never liked the original GOT all that much, but this is excellent. Dunk is such a likeable character.
Now more than ever itβs important to remember that beautiful things can exist
I hear some folks are making #mar10 fan art.

As someone who used to record a lot of their process: No. Go away. I am not making the act of making art more miserable than it has to be.
that's it, I'm quitting art
As with many in this thread, they will probably quietly slink away and pretend this never happened.
While the spread of genAI shite is, well... shite, people accusing genuine artists of not creating their art is the other unfortunate side effect.
Bloody hell at the number of people in the comments accusing this of being genAI.
Of course, when they are given proof that it is not, they go radio silent.
How about apologizing to the artist for likening their art to genAI?
a new greatures about making that face I hate!

I think I can trace my love of ancient stone heads in sci-fi settings to this game.
That was my plan, yeah (five years, and counting). Sadly, my banking app soon no longer being compatible with its version of Android forced my hand.
"So, you know blue? And purple? Do you like those colours? Too bad."
I knew what I was in for when I bought one, but yeah it's still not ideal.
Sadly, just about every phone you look up now will have some sort of AI features advertised. I'm glad this stuff can at least be disabled.
I had the honor of painting the 2026 Commandfest Promo version of the Fyndhorn Elves card! I will be at Commandfest in Tacoma, WA in July if you want yours signed! :) (and tentatively one other location but I'm waiting for official confirmation).
Yep. I'd heard the camera wasn't great (not a concern, as I don't buy phones for their camera), but it turns out that it's mostly down to the default software than the actual hardware.
Yeah, their custom frontend is one of the reasons I decided to go with this, as I really like how clean it is.
OH, and I have to install a community made camera app with specific settings for this phone, because its default camera app forces AI processing on to your images.
Sadly, like so many of these tech companies, they jumped on the AI train, despite their company's whole thesis 'til now being "less is more."
Yeah, that was my plan with my current phone (still going mostly strong nearly six years later), but my banking app no longer working on its version of Android from next month was what forced me to make the jump.
The trouble is, there is just so much of it, and it often feels futile when you do get a few banned, only for a flood of such accounts to take their place anyways.
I've seen reviews for this phone (the Nothing 3a) where people complain about the battery draining quickly. Is it any wonder when all this bloat is running in the background?
According to the thread I'm reading, disabling this stuff makes the battery run much better.
Like, this is a ridiculous number of things to have to disable.
It at least makes me happy to see that even on the official Reddit sub for the brand, multiple people feel the same. I expected the thread I found to be full of sycophants, but the majority are sick of this stuff being pushed on them.
