Episode 153 "Dance Waninoko! Let the Music Play!!"
A rabbit has to choose between an alligator and a platypus. Waninoko's charming personality and the Rocket trio's attempts at winning over Marilli make this a fun one.

Rediscovered this graph I made and I stand by it.
This is how I wrote Paving Our Way for like 3 years
I love “cozy games” on an individual level but “cozy” used to include replaying resident evil 2 for the 5th time
now as a genre it’s starting to feel like it is locking people into aesthetic tradwife boot camp
Parallels.

Also it confirmed Ash can physically touch ghosts and send them off to the afterlife, apparently. That was wild.

Aim to be a Pokemon Midster
Instead, I'll draw attention to how I addressed it in one of the penultimate chapters of Another Road Repaved, aptly titled "The Endless Rainbow," where Brock has a heart-to-heart with Ash about exactly this conundrum:
"Pokémon Master" isn't a formal award: It's a lifestyle.
This is not normal or conventional or sane for storytelling. You made Ash the literal strongest in the world, but his dream itself that he's talked about for the whole show is out of the question. That's insane. He was doomed to fail.
Ash cannot meet every Pokémon in the world.
It's cynical and depressing. It's anticlimactic. Even at Ash's endgame, after a quarter century of viewer investment, he can't win or reach his thematic goal.
Mieru described it well to me; "Even when Ash is allowed everything material, he's denied any thematic conclusion."
Since someone else brought it up, my issue with Kunhiko Yuyama's thoughts on Ash being a Pokémon Master, and Ash's own in MPM, is that he intentionally made it a goal Ash is never meant to achieve, seeing it as an "endless rainbow Ash can see, but never reach." Like, that's not a conclusion.

I already talked to Mieru about this, but I still hold so much contempt for Ash's ending.
"Pokémon Master is an endless rainbow; something Ash can see but never reach" sounds like it belongs at the end of an ironic tragedy.
Instead, it's slapped on an upbeat closing tune with a dopey, overly -

Greninja is what got me into fanfics and Pokémon lore. The episode where Ash caught Snivy was the second Pokémon episode I ever watched, and she is the reason I started watching more lol
I love majority of Ash's Mons. But there won't be another like him ever again. He and Snivy to this remain my favorite. Ash mons of all time.
In the most anticipated tournament of a region then you are probably strong enough to handle the gym leaders at their best.
If you make it to like top 30, which would be like the top 11% [Given I am pretty sure there was some line about Indigo League having like over 200 trainers competing. I perosnally think 256 is the best choice] in the most anticipated of a region—
I think Anipoke can have this rule where gym leaders can switch their Pokémon if the challenger is any trainer who has previously maded in the top 20 or 30 in a regional league before.
Today's exam... Didn't go well

It also parrales Mewtwo and Giovanni, Given Zeroara is a primal feline who is a mix attacker like Mewtwo, but one is a genetic artificial Pokémon focused more on special attack, the other is a physical attacker and a primal Pokémon.
And Ash already has parallels with Giovanni
