A comic partially depicting how February 8th, 2026 went for its author graydemesne. It starts with them waking up at around 2:32 AM with a headache, then brushing their teeth. At around 3:30 AM, they wash their water bottle, and prepare breakfast. They crack an egg over a plate of rice, then heat the plate in the microwave. (The text next to it reads, "Rice, Egg, Liquid Seasoning, Egg and Nori Furikake.") They also heat water in an electric kettle, which is used to make instant miso soup in a cup. By 4:00 AM they are finishing up their breakfast, then washing dishes, when the lights go out all of the sudden. Text: (after yelling for a few seconds, the lights came back on) After finishing washing the dishes, the author googles "frazetta orcs" in bed. Text: wow he really did just draw everyone with their ass cheeks out

"ai image detection" tools are snake oil, and I feel like nobody bothered to scrutinize them.

So I opened photoshop cs6, drew a smiley face, and uploaded it to the "accurate" detector:
