Polly just wants to sit and enjoy her coffee but Olivia will be having none of that. Olivia: Why do you like coffee shops? Polly: The relaxing ambiance. I honestly don't know whether I should spell it ambience or ambiance so I'm spelling it one way in the comic and another way in the transcript. Panel 2 Olivia is not finding this relaxing at all. It's just boring. Olivia: What's relaxing? The bad music? The old people? Polly: It's the vibe. There is an older woman standing nearby and Olivia has said what she said in a loud enough voice to possibly offend. Fortunately for her, this old person has ruined her hearing. Please remember to bring ear protection to loud concerts, places with loud machinery, and coffee shops that play bad music. Panel 3 Suddenly, Olivia starts vibrating. She somehow managed to get the staff to serve her coffee. Olivia: I'm not relaxed! I'm shaking! Polly: I told you to get decaf! Panel 4 Perhaps this isn't as boring as Olivia originally thought. Olivia: And you don't look relaxed. Polly: BECAUSE OF YOU! Olivia is not going to sleep tonight.

The kind where putting it together probably cost as much as a wedding for some people. August has a mug for his coffee that says "I.T. JUICE". Nate: I love proposal videos! How'd you propose to your ex? August: I didn't. Panel 2 Nate is happy to have an opportunity to learn more about one of his favorite co-workers. Nate: Oh? She proposed to you? August: We never married. Panel 3 Nate is slowly realizing that his mental image of August's life does not match what he has envisioned in his head. Nate: But you have a son. August: Yes. Panel 4 Nate realizes that this conversation is far too real than what he had expected for a coffee break. He is suddenly experiencing levels of awkwardness that he had not mentally prepares for. He tries to think of a way to gracefully exit this conversation. Nate: This conversation has become more real than I was prepared for. August: Want to return to work? Nate: YES! August is unbothered.
