Here is my sketch from Wednesday's Urban Sketchers meetup at Darkness Brewing. When I showed this sketch to a friend later in the evening the first thing she said was, "Is that an ewok?" Yes, my friend. That is an ewok sitting at the table. :-)

This felt like a fitting first post. It's my first art book that I published in the summer of 2021. I took a bunch of walks around Rogers Park, my then-neighborhood in Chicago. I took hundreds of photos for reference material. I worked tirelessly in my sketchbook. This is the result.
