you know that you can’t attack your ex partner, but you can challenge their current partner, and you have glossed over and buried the voice of a less protected person to do so. it’s reprehensible.

accountability does not look like completely ignoring the allegations against you and honing in on attacking the partner of the person you abused. it’s loudly transparent and belies an awareness of your privilege and that you are intentionally benefiting from it.
