Always amazed at how Maresca seemingly manages to avoid criticism. Losing 3-1 to Leeds would be a sacking offence for so many other clubs given the money spent on that squad 🀯

Hope tonight goes better than the time I went to Molineux & Andy Johnson chinned Muscat, Marlon Harewood picked up two yellows in five minutes after coming on as sub, we finished with 9 men and we got herded on a 1.5 mile detour to the station by the coppers despite being parked by the ground #NFFC

Never been a fan of Thomas Frank (the mardiness, moaning, hypocrisy) but I can respect he’s a good manager. The reaction of the Spurs fans wanting him out is so hilariously over-entitled. Put your toys back in your pram lads, it’s not your manager, it’s your players: they’re just not very good

Seen quite a few reports from yesterday that label us β€œrelegation battlers”. Surely anyone with an ounce of football acumen can see we’ve been in a false position for this squad and (now we’ve got rid of that useless fraud) will move back up the table? #NFFC

Sean Dyche just knows how to say the right things, doesn’t he? I’m yet to see an interview with him as our manager that hasn’t made me buy into him #NFFC

Saw a lad in a desert camo Notts County top last night whilst playing squash and my inner monologue was all β€œNorman. Sir Norman. Sir Stormin’ Norman. Sir Stormin’ Norman Schwarzkopf” and now I’m concerned that nobody else would get the reference

Imagine fumbling McTominay because you wanted Antony, Ugarte and Yoro and needed the money to pay Casemiro’s wages 🫣

Adam Wharton is a player whose legendary status amongst football hipsters grows with each England game he’s overlooked. The worst thing that can happen for him is he starts, shows the world that he’s just good midfielder and all his fanboys have to choke down their kombucha #ENG #EnglandvAlbania

My observation was more along the lines of you having an Allardyce-style team of big lads but trying to play like a Pep team. Play to your strengths to keep yourselves up then the frilly bits can come later

Couldn’t work out what Leeds were trying to be yesterday. Not got enough talent in that squad to out-football us (as bad as we’ve been) but at the same time not really trying to rough us up or get at us. Get the feeling that if they played a bit more direct they’d get a bit more joy πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ #NFFC #LUFC

Did enough to win that. Lacking a cutting edge in a few areas. Jury still out on a few of the new signings. A draw not the end of the world. Big game on Sunday ahead #NFFC

Ok, so today (particularly the 1st half) wasn’t great but the reality is we’ve been struggling since about March. Confidence looks low and we need to be more direct in some of our play rather than taking the safe option by passing backwards. Take a man on, drive at the heart of the opposition #NFFC

Same. Used my birthday money. Was going to get Bohinen and then the week before he f*cked off to Blackburn. Still have the shirt and it still fits, despite not being β€˜11 Stone’ myself for about 20 years

Daft as it sounds (and I know it sounds daft…) I think Ange was been slightly unlucky. Players missing chances, defenders making silly mistakes, crap officiating etc. He’s clearly rubbish and I’m delighted he’s gone, but still πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

I remember going away to Rotherham for a 2-2 draw early in his reign. Velios scored an overhead and Bendtner came on as a sub. Should have just given up at that point 😩

As bad as Ange was, I still don’t think he is in my β€˜Top 3 Worst Ever NFFC Managers’ list.

In no particular order: Megson, McClaren, McLeish πŸ†

Special mentions also go out to Kinnear and Platt πŸ…

The end of Ange Postecoglou begs the question: what next? A 3-0 loss at home against Chelsea finally saw the end of Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest. The next appointment needs to make amends

A 3-0 loss at home against Chelsea finally saw the end of Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest. The next decision at the City Ground now needs to make amends for the previous eight games. George Edwards was at the match #nffc

One other minor point about Ange: in his interviews it’s always β€œme” or β€œthe players” rather than β€œus” or β€œwe”

Might sound trivial but I think it subtly adds to the idea that he’s not in this together with us, not part of the family #NFFC

Well… had a 3 hour drive down to Windsor to reflect on what I’ve just witnessed tonight…

Did anyone play particularly badly? No. Did we play some decent stuff at times? Yes. Have we shipped 3 sloppy goals yet again? Yes. Was the ref rubbish? Yes. Will we win at the weekend? Not a chance πŸ˜• #NFFC
