I made a joke years ago that if you like the cracked out dynamic between the main three in Berserk but can't take a decade/84 chapters of Guts on the boat, read Yona because while some of the arcs are like "OK but where's Hak/Soo-Won/the dragons", you won't be stuck at sea
S1 was so good and if they just faithfully follow the manga as it pretty much did, S2 will be stellar. It will need at least a S3 and maybe a movie, but, man. I can't wait
while the ending to Akatsuki no Yona was mid, I have great hopes for S2 of the anime. I honestly think it will heal a scar in my soul

real estate listings are also super useful for this, especially nowadays where there's tons of great quality pictures for listings online. completely aging myself, but when I first started doing this, I would get books and magazines from the bookstore or library
years ago, I read writing advice about creating scenery that, if you want to create a believable interior environment, look up house plans, hotel rooms, business layouts, etc. and it's become one of my favourite ways to envision new interiors even in completely arcane or alien settings
I still really love this piece I did for a Fire Emblem 3 Houses zine I was in a while back! This was made into coasters and I think they turned out so cute. I was super happy to get to draw the black eagles… Edelgard my beloved… 🦅❤️

I didn't expect to like Lady Tremaine as much as I did, and it's not perfect, but it doesn't need to be when you finally get a fairy tale retelling that doesn't pull its punches. A rare book where I didn't despise the epilogue, too
