Blue Badge 0.2.0 | Smoke Signal After some time and experimentation, the next iteration of Blue Badge is here, and I'm excited to share it with you.

I wrote about the next iteration of @badge.blue today!

I released Blue Badge in August 2024 as an experiment in how to incorporate attestation into ATProtocol. This update includes support for using a DID's verification methods and expands on signatures.

Extending Also Known As | Smoke Signal The did-plc spec has room for backwards compatible improvement to support multiple identity associations.

I've seen a lot of discussions lately about handle verification, so I wrote about extending the "alsoKnownAs" feature of the did-plc spec. As it is currently written, the spec supports multiple handles and identities, and some (relatively) small changes could resolve some of the gripes.

@pouriade.com is doing all the heavy lifting, I'm helping with getting the word out and some of the deployment (Railway, subdomain per branch).

Lexicon Records | Smoke Signal Thoughts on storing Lexicon definitions as records.
