There was a time when I posted regularly in another place photos of my cooking. But now I only do it occasionally. I was pleased with this one though. A tomato tarte tatin with home made puff pastry.

Tom Lehrer spoke for a generation when he said “political satire became obsolete when Henry Kissinger won the Nobel Peace Prize.” I wonder what he thought of Trump. As he sang about the threat of nuclear war, “We all go together when we go.”

Replant the Forest of Arden. Sadly I won’t live long enough to walk in its shade. But Kieran might.

I’ve campaigned against the right to buy since 1980. It’s good to see this partial ban but it needs to be abolished completely.
