Unfortunately it turns out it isn't just con crud, it's covid. Tested positive today with a faint line. No wonder why headaches and fatigue are beating me down.
The good news is I probably wasn't contagious when I was still at VF, and wore a mask anyway. Symptoms started several days after.
As someone who has a decently high discomfort tolerance and prefers to stay out of conflict and spreading callout posts (in a "you're adults, work it out" kinda way) I can put up with a lot.
But if someone is a legitimate danger to the community I will make an exception, as I just recently did.

So while sick and unable to do much in the way of job searching (had some pretty nasty headaches today), I decided to start up Pokemon Scarlet.
I thought about choosing Fuecoco, but my heart chose the weed cat! I found more fire types anyway, like Houndour.
This is a mood as someone who also has a decently high discomfort tolerance.
But despite that, even I have my limits. Emotional blackmail, gaslighting, or people that I feel like I have to walk on eggshells around are part of those limits.
Everyone deserves housing.
Everyone deserves healthcare.
Everyone deserves food, water and clean air.
These are not things you should have to “earn”.
Your ability to survive should not be based on economic output.
Help people meet their basic needs & watch the world change.

This movie REALLY surprised me in the second and third acts with where it went. And I can honestly say I enjoyed most of the "company characters" as much as I did the lead.
Definitely worth checking out!

In the original GameCube version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Glitz Pit greeter Toad always bites his tongue after Chapter 3 is over. In the Switch version, this was made into an Easter egg, whereby he always has a small chance of biting his tongue instead.
