3. Dressing - It could be very hot and humid outdoors while pretty cold indoors. So dress for a hot summer in general. But bring jackets and shawls for indoor air conditioning.

2. Payment - most of supermarkets, restaurants, shopping malls accept credit cards and Apple/Google Pay. But at the hawker centers (local eateries) and canteens, mobile pay may only accept paylah or paynow, which have to link to local banks. Get some cash.
