We are incredibly disappointed by the Labour government's decision to seek advice from such a narrow segment of our industry. You can find our open letter here: www.gameworkers.co.uk/open-letter-...

Workers at a London-based board game bar allege recent firing is anti-union retaliation Strike votes and cries of retaliation has brought Draughts management to the negotiation table

A kitchen worker at UK-based Draughts boardgame cafe was allegedly fired after union members delivered a strike ballot notice to the store's owners.

A huge thanks to all those who stopped by our @gameworkers.co.uk booth at Develop. We had an amazing time meeting members and workers in the industry - and although I lost my voice from chatting so much, it heartens me to know so many others are finding theirs, and working together in solidarity.

At midnight, Palestine Action will be proscribed under the Terrorism Act.

Their real โ€œcrimeโ€? Exposing the UKโ€™s role in arming Israelโ€™s genocide.

This is a dark day for our democracy.

Criminalising non-violent resistance wonโ€™t silence the truth.

We are all Palestine Action ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ธ

I was struck by the relevance of these words from John Ruskin, one of England's most celebrated artistic thinkers ๐ŸŽจ. Although he spoke these words over 160 years ago, they feel eerily applicable to the videogame industry today. Not a pithy quote, but one some of us could certainly learn from... ๐Ÿ™
