Top Panel: Wyra is receiving an echo vision -- of the future, perhaps? She is standing in a field with weapons and fire and a raging storm of meteors all around her as a great dragon towers above. A voice calls out to her, bringing her back to reality. Bottom panel: Wyra has her eyes closed, clearly suffering some sort of headache. She speaks. "Hm? Sorry love, spaced out there fer a tick."

Top Panel: Wyra looks up, a bit curious, a bit clueless. She does not seem particularly concerned, though. She continues talking "What were ya sayin'? Was it anythin' important?" Bottom panel: The voice that was calling to her earlier was A'djeah, the affluent Captain of the Golden Coeurl's daughter. She crosses her arms in irritation and seems guarded and annoyed. "It could have been, not that you seem to care all that much as of late."

Top Panel: Wyra rolls her eyes as A'djeah speaks, or rather, rants, as Wyra has now set her off. A'djeah says: ""Was it important?" Do you even hear yourself sometimes? One of these days I will have something to say that actually matters and you still won't be paying an onze of attention!" Bottom panel: Wyra is incensed now-- her tail swishing up in irritation. She just had a vision of the apocalypse and is now being accosted for not listening about what she perceives to have been gossip or fashion. She speaks. "Sorry, I just-- look, there's a lot more at stake right now than the sweet lil' day dates ya like an' how much attention yer gettin' lavished in. My mind's jus' been elsewhere. Maybe if ya paid any heed to the fact Garlemald's on our doorstep you'd understand that."

Top Panel: A'djeah looks tired, as if she's heard this before. She sighs. "That's not even..." she starts to say, but then decides to return Wyra's cattiness. Bottom Panel: A'djeah looks away, hurt and dejected. She speaks with scorn. "...You have this neat magic spell you've taught yourself. Your mouth opens, and my mother's voice comes out."

Wyra has lost more than she's won and she has the battle scars to prove it, but not all fights leave physical wounds...

I would say there’s still plenty of flaws she has and she can definitely backslide on any of the above points at any given time, but she’s definitely come a long way from being a shitty fuckboy who chooses violence as a coping mechanism

Yes— Wyra in her earlier years was kind of an enormous asshole (and we also mustn’t forget the war crimes.) Her character growth includes:

- tackling survivor’s guilt and the want to live
- accepting being called a hero & what that means to ppl
- being more open & vulnerable
