Just did a test of the new Mario Kart World patch and I think Nintendo really outdid themselves this time.

Gave penguins timing-sensitive motor planning capabilities. In other words, they can try to move a body part to a specific place *at a specific time*. This is vital for NPCs with a sense of rhythm or good reflexes!

i started to make a live coding environment for myself! its currently basically shadertoy but on my mac with compiled c for the audio. its not a particularly unique wheel, but it's *my* wheel, so I am mostly experimenting with the details to see what makes me feel productive & creative.

panel 1: fizz sitting at his computer. a voice comes from offscreen, but it's barely understandable: "can you fo-d th- la--dry t--i--" fizz presses the spacebar, pauses what he was doing and looks back: "wh-sorry what was that?" panel 2: the voice retries, but even quieter : "i said ca- yo- --ld t-- la----" fizz turns around in his chair, smiling nervously : "...sorry i-i still didn't understand..." panel 3: the voice goes "....." fizz, sweating, asks hesitantly : "...just a bit louder please?" panel 4: the voice sighs : "nevermind." fizz looks away with a sad expression.
