I think it's actually quite common..I don't want to out anyone I've spoken to about it who's experienced it worse than me, but even for me I've certainly had particular videos that were hell to edit for this reason (looking at YOU Barack Obama Plaza). But I cheated, I started HRT.

Hideous. I can't imagine dealing with the NGS and hope I never have to. When my (soon to be former) doctor told me to go "through the system" there was a 10 year waiting list. When I pointed this out to him, with a straight face he said, "Yes."
Now it's like 20 years, eh?

Yes I have had many blood tests since through the lovely Randox people in their location in Cork. Happy to report that I haven't had any issues and my body took to female hormones like it was built for them!

When my doctor refused to do blood tests he justified it by saying private gender services don't do due diligence, followed by a pretty Incoherent monologue about transition risks like "increased risk of cancer" which is not true. Then, having not done due diligence, he sent me off. Absolute toss.

Today I really felt, so to speak, "transitioned". I don't know that there will be or even could be some absolute end point to a transition journey. No doubt there will be plenty more change ahead. But, with no makeup on, just wearing whatever, I looked in the mirror and I saw her.

The New York Times is about as objective as having three loudmouth aunties with big age gaps between them. They mostly agree with each other, but the really conservative one makes the youngest one sound almost sane.

Finally, try to explain to a liberal American how completely unusual the relationship between the State of Israel and the United States actually is. Try finding a media outlet willing to admit merely to the unusualness of this particular diplomatic relationship.

Try explaining how many other countries don't have guns. Or student loans. Try keeping the conversation about the other country and not about how America Bad.

Try telling Americans that free health care is actually FREE in other countries and you will meet, head on, the cruelly insular and one-sided nature of the American media.
