If we can't vote to reign in ICE, we need to shut the government down again.

My daughter's school in Richfield, MN (adjacent to Minneapolis) is closing tomorrow due of out-of-control federal agents. Fourth graders spent the week building walls of snow at recess to protect their classmates from ICE. This isn't about immigration enforcement, it's about terror.

The NIH process for hiring and renewing senior leaders has for decades used committees of scientific experts to provide gold-standard external review of candidates.

This process has been an example of government accountability and top talent recruitment, and it’s a shame it’s being politicized.

Context you rarely hear: global stocks are up about 30% over the past year. U.S. stocks? Around 18%. That means American investors underperformed the world by about 12 percentage points, even while headlines called it a “fantastic year.”

Also as a reminder: courage isn't the only thing that's contagious. Flu A, Norovirus, RSV & Measles are all circulating at higher rates than we would like to see. Get vaccinated for what you can, stay home if you're sick (or wear masks if you can't), and wash your hands! Even if RFK says otherwise!

Saying bad ideas are bad isn't censorship The core goal is a free and fair public debate, and billionaires promoting their favored speech tilts the free marketplace of ideas.
