Five years on the 17th of this month Jen - five very long years.....
I remember it was much nicer 70 years ago when my brother first moved here (he was in the RN) but now it feels like one huge, densely populated, rather grey industrial estate. I came here 5 yrs ago, not really from choice but to be nearer the only family I have left. I think I'd prefer Stornoway 😄!
That is about the most exciting thing about the place.😂

Yes it was. There is one restaurant in this area that serves Stornoway Black Pudding so my nephew makes a beeline for it when he can 😆
You have missed a treat - I love Black Pudding. My half-Scottish nephew informed me that Stornoway Black Pudding is the very finest. I thought to get him some for Christmas but the postal charge is almost 10 quid!
