Hi π
Apologies for not being more active on here recently. Planned to ramp things up around this time in the run up to the mag and then went and had a baby.
Rest assured mag 9 is on the way and some online content will be on the way soon too.

Clue time:
A picture clue for this one:
Wake up babe, a new tricky Trasferta XI has just dropped.
These 11 players have a common link.... what is it ?
Re-post it, do your mates head in with it whilst you're down the pub watching the football, spend days and nights trying to figure it out, it's a belter
Whoooooooo's ready for another tricky trasferta XI ?
This was guessed correctly by someone over on X yesterday....
The answer is:
All of the players initials are abbreviations of U.S states β

Ever wondered what the most expensive thing on Ebay is for every premier league team ?
I've just spent the last 10 minutes finding out, so you don't have to...

β»οΈ's Appreciated
Cannot believe this still hasn't been cracked !
Lunch time clue:
"I initially thought this would be an easy question, it's a sorry State of affairs"
Clue drop:
This XI could be managed by former
Rotherham, Torquay, Scunthorpe, and Bury manager Alan Knill...

Wolverhampton Wanderers -
Rounding things off with a civic banquet to celebrate Billy Wright's 100 England caps.
Imagine going back in time to that banquet and showing them all Sir Alex's Gameboy.
It would blow their minds, not enough banquets in modern football these days.
West Ham -
The eagle eyed among you may have noticed this seller cropping up a lot with some historic bits of memorabilia.
Could do a thread just on this Ebay account alone, i reckon. The thinking man's David Dickinson, the Barclay's man's Lovejoy...
Tottenham -
In the pocket of big frame β
οΈ
Two quite bog standard bits of football memorabilia here. No notes apart from me wanting to message all 20 people watching the bottom shirt saying "3.6 grand? Really ? Lads, it's Tottenham..."
Southampton -
A matchworn vintage shirt from the mid 80s listed for only Β£400.
To put that into perspective you'd have to sell ~73 of these to buy the Alex Ferguson GameBoy.
It's a shame but clubs like Southampton simply can't financially compete on Ebay anymore...
Nottingham Forest -
Genuinely rocked by the 286 people tracking this.
Was going to make a joke about them all being blokes who didn't strike in the 80s and that's how they'd be able to afford it. But I'm better than that, so I won't...
Newcastle.
Matchworn shirt. Don't mess about the geordies, a sensible item for your top priced purchase.
Could buy it to wear when you go and see Sam Fender. Probably be cheaper than the ticket.
Fascinated by this. Someone approaching late 90s Fergie with a boxed up gameboy.
The venn diagram of people with bollocks to do that with the foresight to keep hold of it as a collectable baffles me. We truly live in a world of wonders...
Manchester United
Screenshot includes the top one as per the remit of the thread, but the Man United Game boy signed by Alex Ferguson steals the show for me.
Absolutely spectacular bit of kit. "If i won the lottery, it wouldn't be obvious but there'd be signs" kinda purchase...
Manchester City -
Β£55k license plate and Β£25k on a Cole Palmer tops collectable.
Have to think the seller of the reg playe is missing a trick not marketing this to fans of My Chemical Romance here too.
That Cole Palmer card has 20 pairs of eyes on it mind. One to watch ...
Liverpool.
My wildest conspiracy theory is that football only exists to create memorabilia that in turn creates a market for the frame industry.
Klopp, Slott, Benitez ? They're all in the pocket of "big frame".
Bonus one for Leicester.
Jamie Vardy Topps Champion's league card.
Still a tough one to explain to the bank, but a safer investment that John Terry's NFT's i reckon...
Leicester -
Patson Daka signed shirt for 5k.
Ambitious price considering they got relegated that season. "Or best offer" doing some heavy lifting here you'd have to suspect...
Fulham -
Headstone.
Β£1500.
No notes...
Everton - nice bit of footballing history, Β£3k. Seems like a genuinely interesting bit of kit, tantalisingly priced to max out a credit card and flex on the lads down at powerleague on a Thursday night.
Crystal Palace - annoyingly not actually Palace the club per se, but quite an interesting one.
Olise panini card up for nearly Β£4k though. 10 people watching it, keen to see how that plays out...
Chelsea next.
34k on a reg plate and better part of 8k on a watch
Don't know about you but if I spend 8 grand on a watch, I expect free postage and packaging, the Β£20 postage seems steep...
Brighton up next.
Ever wanted to remember the day your team lost a cup final ?
Now you can for the low low price of Β£5086.72 (the 72p seems odd?)
Personally i prefer Brighton's "Jason Steele for England" or "Gaetang Bong football genius" efforts.
Bournemouth now with the 1st of our match warn shirts. Apparently it has tape marks from when he lifted the sleeves up. A Bargain at Β£1.7k imo.
I had quite a nice time when I went to Bournemouth & saw Barnsley lose 3-0 without a shot on target, so i hope someone gets it.
