There are so many of us, creatives trying to make it through Q4, neurodivergent artists expending extra effort to appease the algorithms while protecting every feeble spark of inspiration. Know you are not alone if you feel it too.

My ghost of Christmas present is a heavy weight, a dulling gray, sapping any energy I had stored up for winter.

I know I’m not the only one, whose everyday depression transforms into the even more potent seasonal kind, as the days grow cold and short.

Every year, Thanksgiving week comes around and I feel the rush of anxiety.
Small Businesses Saturday is coming, and I always wish I had planned, painted more, and posted more.

But with this time of year, the haunting seasonal depression arrives along with the holiday decor.

Sitting in the collective grief this Friday. There is still a crowd that cheers as convicted criminals are freed and demands that innocents be jailed, tortured, and sent to their deaths.

Thinking of all the rangers and everyone who cares for our beautiful parks. 🙏🏼🤍
